NEW ERA Collaborates with Flakey by Frankie on New Headwear

Luscious Black with Mysterious Purple Iridescence
Holographic Styling on the Rise

New Era, American headwear brand leading lifestyle and fashion since 1920, collaborates with local street wear brand Flakey for the first time. Founded by popular boy band idol Frankie, the label is releasing new designs in 9FORTY and BUCKET01 silhouettes on 9th March. The combination of luscious black and purple iridescence, topped with an exclusive brand logo, creates a unique style that is both whimsical and mysterious.

Local street wear brand Flakey is founded by boy band member Frankie, carrying mostly leisure fashion in its lines. With its ability to weave together varied styles gracefully, including Yama and street style, the brand has earned a spot on fashion lovers’ watch list. Originated from Hong Kong slang “Fong Fey Gei(Fly Airplane)”,  meaning to be stood up by someone. Timing is one of the key defining elements for success in life, the brand intends to remind the public to seize every opportunity. Frankie was in a low time in life when he established the brand, in the later days when he readjusted and set out on his journey again, he realized that real success is determined by how your handle the process, success might be “standing up” on him momentarily, it would eventually return on track in life. The brand intends to motivate us to face everything with a positive attitude, and success will naturally come to you.

New Era collaborates with Flakey for the first time to launch two crossover styles in popular 9FORTY and BUCKET01 silhouettes. The luscious black base color is subtle yet chic, with a Flakey paper plane logo embroidered in to the front in purple iridescence. The dreamy and vibrant color is clear even in the dark. The sophisticated purple iridescence stands for deep thoughts and unique originality, a nod to Flakey’s brand philosophy. Don’t let the chance slip away, fashionistas!
