How do I join the New Era HK Club Loyalty Program?

You can register an account in order to become a New Era HK Club member. If your registration is successful, you will receive an SMS/Email to verify your account. Once your account is verified, you will become a New Era HK Club member.

Customers who have signed up for an account will automatically join the loyalty program and earn points by making a purchase. 

  • All persons aged 18 or above are eligible to join New Era HK Club. Affiliates or other legal entities will not be entitled any memberships. The acceptance of membership is at the sole discretion of New Era HK Club.
  • New Era HK Club membership is non-transferrable and is only for the member. Abuse of memberships and offers, any misbehaviors, frauds or misuse of points, or failure to comply with the terms of use and/or other terms and conditions may result in termination or temporary suspension of memberships, withdrawal of offers and cancellation of all points and rewards.
  • New Era HK Club reserves the right to modify the structure, offers and other contents, including relevant terms and conditions, or to terminate the New Era HK Club Loyalty Program. Although "New Era HK Club Loyalty Program" will take appropriate action to inform members of changes regarding the "New Era HK Club Loyalty Program" and/or these terms and conditions, members have the responsibility to check for the updated contents of the "New Era HK Club Loyalty Program" and its terms and conditions. Members who use any of the services under the "New Era HK Club Loyalty Program" are deemed to fully accept the changes. The "New Era HK Club Loyalty Program" and/or "New Era Cap Asia Pacific Limited" shall bear no responsibility of any loss or damage resulting from the changes made to the "New Era HK Club Loyalty Program" or these terms and conditions.

 

Membership Qualifications and Restrictions

Membership is permanently valid during your lifetime unless member requests for withdrawal and submits application for withdrawal or upon occurrence of other events where the membership should be terminated according to these rules. Each membership tier has its specific validity period depending on your spendings, different tiers will enjoy different membership privileges during the relevant validity period of such tier of memberships. (The specific privileges of different levels of membership are subject to the latest information as updated on New Era Cap Official Website from time to time).

Membership Tiering

  • Basic Member: You can become a Basic Member by completing the membership registration.
  • Silver Member: After completing the membership registration and becoming a Basic Member, if you accumulate HKD$2,000 in aggregate in any consecutive 365 days, you will be automatically upgraded to a Silver Member from the date when on which the aforesaid accumulating consumptions are generated. Consumptions are recorded after the order has been fulfilled.
  • Gold Member: After completing the membership registration process and becoming a member, if you accumulate HKD$5000 in aggregate in any consecutive 365 days, you will be automatically upgraded to a Gold Member from the date when on which the aforesaid accumulating consumptions are generated.  Consumptions are recorded after the order has been fulfilled.
  • Diamond Member: After completing the membership registration process and becoming a member, if you accumulate HKD$10,000 in aggregate in any consecutive 365 days, you will be automatically upgraded to a Diamond Member from the date when on which the aforesaid accumulating consumptions are generated.  Consumptions are recorded after the order has been fulfilled.

 

Use and Limitations of Member Points: The rules governing the computation of the Member Points are set out in these following rules. The member points generated by malicious bills, purchases for non-consumption purposes and other illegal transactions are invalid. We have the discretion to cancel, invalidate, deduct or adjust the corresponding member points depending on to the circumstances. After successfully becoming a Silver Member or Member of higher tiering, if by reason of any return or refund of goods or services stated in the purchase receipt the final member points falls below the specified transaction amount required to become a member of the relevant level, the membership will be downgraded accordingly.

Validity Period for Different Memberships Levels

  • The validity period for Silver/Gold/Diamond Membership(s) is 365 days (The computation of the 365 days period is illustrated by the following example). Membership of newly registered Silver/Gold/Diamond Members becomes valid from the date when such member effectively becomes the respective tier of member; the tier of the upgraded Silver Membership/Gold Membership/Diamond Membership or the downgraded Silver Membership/Gold Membership starts from the upgrading /downgrading date. For example, if a member becomes a Diamond Member on August 15, 2020, in the absence of a valid renewal, his/her Diamond Membership will expire on August 14, 2021. With effect from August 15, 2021, such member will be downgraded to a Gold Member/Silver Member/Basic Member (as the case may be).
  • Unless otherwise terminated in accordance with these rules, validity period for Basic Members has no expiry date.
  • Renewal and Restrictions:
  • Silver Membership Renewal: Silver Membership will be automatically renewed if a Silver Member accumulates HKD$1,000 in aggregate during the validity period for the Silver Membership level. The renewal period will start from the renewal date till last day of the 12th month.
  • Gold Membership Renewal: Gold Membership will be automatically renewed if a Gold Member accumulates HKD$2,500 in aggregate during the validity period for the Gold Membership level. The renewal period will start from the renewal date till last day of the 365 days; if a Gold Member's Member Points during the validity period for the Gold Membership reach HKD$1,000 but fall short of HKD$2,500, the Gold Member will be automatically downgraded to Silver Member on the first day immediately following the expiration date of the original Silver Membership level.
  • Diamond Membership Renewal: Diamond Membership will be automatically renewed if a Diamond Member accumulates HKD$5,000 in aggregate during the validity period for Diamond Membership level. The renewal period will start from the renewal date till last day of the 365 days; if a Diamond Member's Member Points during the validity period for the Diamond Membership reach HKD$2,500 but fall short of HKD$5,000, the Diamond Member will be automatically downgraded to Gold Member on the first day immediately following the expiration date of the original Gold Membership level; if a Diamond Member's Member Points during the validity period for the Diamond Membership reaches HKD$1,000 but falls short of HKD$2,500, the Diamond Member will be automatically downgraded to Silver Member on the first day immediately following the expiration date of the original Gold Membership level.
  • If a Silver/Gold/Diamond Member’s accumulating consumptions during the validity period of the respective Membership level does not reach HKD$1,000, he/she will be automatically downgraded to Basic Member on the first day immediately following the expiration date of the original Membership level.

For example, if a member becomes a Diamond Member on August 15, 2020, his/her accumulating consumptions reaches HKD$5,000 within the period from August 15, 2020 to August 14, 2021, his/her Diamond Membership will be automatically renewed on August 15, 2021. The renewed Diamond Membership will be valid from August 15, 2021 to August 14, 2022; if his/her accumulating consumptions within the period from August 15, 2020 to August 14, 2021 reaches HKD$2,500 but falls short of HKD$5,000, he/she will be automatically downgraded to Gold Member from August 15, 2021, the Gold  Membership is valid from August 15, 2021 to August 14, 2022, and so on.

 

How do I earn New Era HK Club points?

  • You will earn 1 point for every HK$1 of purchase if you are Basic/Silver/Gold Member. Diamond Members will earn 2 points for every HK$3 of purchase. Delivery cost will not be counted. Eligible points are calculated based on the actual amount displayed upon checkout (deducting any discounts).
  • Points will be credited to your account after the order has been fulfilled.
  • Tier upgrade bonus points: Silver (300 points), Gold (800 points), Diamond (1000 points).
  • If you joined as Basic (i.e. tier = Member), and you have one off spent HK$10,000, you will be upgraded to Diamond tier and receive 1000 points (instead of 300 & 800 & 1000 points).

How do I use/redeem New Era HK Club points? How many New Era HK Club rewards can I redeem each time?

  • You can select and redeem rewards at the Reward Zone once you have accumulated sufficient points.
  • Rewards refer to single-use promo codes, which can be applied for discounts or gift redemptions.
  • Promo codes can be applied upon checkout during your next purchase.
  • When redeem a reward (e.g. free product reward, % off or freeshipping reward), a discount code will be generated. Discount code is only for online usage.
  • Discount code valids for 24 hours (since first issued), points will not be refunded if the code expires.
  • Each discount code can only be used once.
  • Discount code will only be displayed at checkout pages (e.g. if you have chosen a reward & click "Confirm" and then “Apply”, you will be redirected/please go to cart page. At this moment you will still not be able to see the discount code, until you reached the checkout pages where you are required to fill in shipping address).
  • If multiple promotions are applicable for the same product, system may calculate and process one/some of them depending on the calculation logic.
  • Discount code deductions are based on products at discounted price.
  • At max 5 different discount codes for each checkout.
  • New Era HK reserves the right to modify the above terms and conditions without prior notice.
  • In case of any dispute, New Era HK reserves the right for final decision.

If you want to redeem 1 free product reward, please follow below steps:

1) Login “My Account” > click “Use my points”

2) Within “Get rewards” > click “Use my points”

3) Assume your cart is empty & you want to redeem: “Free product A”

3.1) click the point button on “Free product A” > click “Confirm” > click “Apply” > go to cart

3.2) now, cart should contain product A at its original price* > click “Check Out” > see “Delivery options” page > click “Continue to checkout” > see “Shipping address” page

3.3) Please ensure discount code is applied at checkout > continue to proceed


If you want to redeem 1 discount/ free shipping reward, please follow below steps:

1) Login “My Account” > click “Use my points”

2) Within “Get rewards” > click “Use my points”

3) Assume your cart is empty & you want to redeem: “5% OFF”

3.1) click the point button on “5% OFF” > click “Confirm” > click “Apply” > go to cart

3.2) now, cart should still be empty, please add a product inside and you will see it is still displaying at its original price* >click “Check Out” > see “Delivery options” page > click “Continue to checkout” > see “Shipping address” page

3.3) Please ensure discount code is applied at checkout > continue to proceed


If you want to redeem more than 1 reward within the same checkout, please follow below steps:

1) Login “My Account” > click “Use my points”

2) Within “Get rewards” > click “Use my points”

3) Assume your cart is empty & you want to redeem: “Free product A”+“Free product B”+“Free Shipping”

3.1) click the point button on “Free product A” > click “Confirm” > click “Apply” > DO NOT go to cart while please jot down the discount code


3.2) repeat steps 1-2 back to “Use my points” page > click the point button on “Free product B” > click “Confirm” > click “Apply” > DO NOT go to cart while please jot down the discount code

3.3) repeat steps 1-2 back to “Use my points” page > click the point button on “Free Shipping” > click “Confirm” > click “Apply” > go to cart page

3.4) now, cart should contain product A & B at their original price* > click “Check Out” > see “Delivery options” page > click “Continue to checkout” > see “Shipping address” page


3.5) Please input all the 3 discount codes at checkout > continue to proceed

    Is there a valid period for the New Era HK Club points?

    • The New Era HK Club points are valid for 365 days after the order is fulfilled. Earned points can only be accumulated and redeemed within the valid period. Points that are not redeemed within the valid period will become invalid and cannot be used. If inconsistencies regarding point calculation and expiry arise, the information presented within "My Account" > "Point History" shall prevail.
    • Members have the responsibility to monitor their membership and points expiry. All points will become invalid after the expiry date. In case of any disputes, New Era HK Club own records of the member’s points balance shall be the valid proof.

    How do I check the balance of my New Era HK Club points?

    You can check the balance of points earned, how to earn points, how to redeem rewards, your reward redemption records and promo codes on the New Era HK Club page after logging into your account.

    Are New Era HK Club points transferrable/exchangeable for cash?

    New Era HK Club points are not exchangeable/redeemable for cash and are non-transferrable. Points cannot be co-used or shared within accounts of the same member.

    Is there a valid period for the New Era HK Club membership?

    Your membership will be valid throughout the New Era HK Club Loyalty Program. New Era Cap Asia Pacific Limited reserves the right and in its sole discretion, to terminate the New Era HK Club Loyalty Program without prior notice or interpretation to its members. In case New Era HK Club Loyalty Program is terminated, all rights and privileges possessed by its members will cease. Members shall not or cannot file any claims or requests to New Era Cap Asia Pacific Limited with regards to any natures or results that arise or may arise from the termination of the program.

    Are all purchases made on New Era Cap stores eligible of earning New Era HK Club points? Can New Era HK Club points be used in other stores?

    New Era HK Club points can only be earned and used in www.neweracap.hk.

     

    New Era HK Club Rewards

    Are all New Era HK Club Rewards fixed?

    • New Era HK Club rewards will be updated from time to time, with limited quantities and while supplies last.
    • New Era HK Club will try to provide the redeemed gift within a reasonable period of time, depending on the nature of the gift. Nevertheless, New Era HK Club reserves the right to request the member to provide alternative gift options in the event that the redeemed gift is not available or not deliverable.

    How can I check the redeemed promo codes?

    You can start redeem by viewing "Use my points" tab or check your redeemed promo codes (but yet to use) on the “See my rewards” tab on the New Era HK Club page. You can also click on the “Apply” button to use the offer. 

     

    Are New Era HK Club promo codes transferrable?

    You are recommended to use the promo codes yourself to avoid any misuse of the codes.

    Are New Era HK Club rewards returnable/refundable?

    Once the reward is redeemed, it cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged for other rewards or products.

    Can New Era HK Club points be redeemed immediately after purchase?

    Points will be delivered to your account after the order has been fulfilled. Customer can redeem the rewards after point delivery to the account.

    Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

    • These rules and the transactions relating to these rules are governed by the Hong Kong law, and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong.
    • Any dispute or controversy arising out of or in connection with these rules shall be settled by amicable and faithful negotiation between you and New Era Cap Asia Pacific Limited to the extent possible. In the absence of gross negligence, New Era Cap Asia Pacific Limited reserves the final right of decision on such dispute or controversy. If the negotiation fails, such disputes or controversy shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of a court with competent jurisdiction in Hong Kong.
    • If any provision of these Rules or any part in any provision of these Rules is determined as illegal, invalid or unenforceable, such provision or such part will be deemed to be severed from the other provisions or other parts in the relevant provision, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Rules or the remaining part of the relevant provisions shall not be affected.

     

    Under what circumstance will my loyalty points be deducted? Why does my loyalty points become negative?
    Under normal circumstances, loyalty points will be deducted when used for redemption. If there is any cancelled or refunded transaction in your account after deducting the relevant loyalty points, New Era Asia Pacific Limited will make adjustment on the loyalty points earned from the transaction. If the loyalty points in your account is less than the adjustment, it would show a negative point credit.
    For example:

    • You currently hold 2,000 loyalty points in your New Era HK Club membership account. After making a purchase of HK$8,000 online, your point balance will become 10,000.

    • If you redeem a 15% OFF discount code worth 1,500 points, your point balance will be reduced by 1,500 and you will have 8,500 remaining. 
    • If you redeem a FREE PRODUCT REWARD discount code worth 1,000 points, your point balance will be reduced by 1,000 and you will have 7,500 remaining. 
    • If due to to any circumstances, your credit card transaction has been cancelled (for the HK$8,000 online purchase), the HK$8,000 will be refunded to your credit card and the point balance will be reduced by 8,000. Your point balance will become -500. 

     

    What should I do when my point balance is negative? 

    The new loyalty points you earn will be used to offset the negative points until the balance becomes positive in your member account. 

    Example: 

    • If your current loyalty point balance is -3,000. And you earn 3,000 new points by spending HK$3,000 in Neweracap.hk online shop. These newly earned loyalty points will be used to offset -3,000 point balance. Thus, the point balance will become 0 in your account page. The point balance will then become positive following further purchases / points redemptions.

     

    Educational Program

    The Educational Discount Program is designed for students, teachers, and academic staff of educational institutions. New Era Cap Asia Pacific Limited offers a 10% discount on products purchased online from neweracap.hk. 

     

    • Eligibility: The Educational Discount Program is open to current students, teachers and academic staff who have a valid educational institution email address (e.g., .edu or .ac).
    • Registration: Eligible participants must register with their educational institution email address and upload a proof of their status (student card, teacher identification, or staff identification).
    • Verification: Upon successful verification of their status, eligible participants will receive an email notification of their acceptance to the Educational Discount Program.
    • Usage: The discount can be used on any purchases on the NEWERACAP.HK E-shop, excluding delivery costs.
    • Discount: The 10% discount is not stackable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or promo codes.
    • Transferability: The Educational Discount is non-transferable and should only be used by the registered member. Misuse of the discount may result in the suspension or termination of the discount privileges.
    • Modification and Termination: New Era Cap Asia Pacific Limited reserves the right to modify or terminate the Educational Discount Program at any time without prior notice.
    • Expiry: The Educational Discount is valid for 365 days from the date of approval. To continue enjoying the discount, members must re-verify their status annually.
