Assistant Accountant
The role of the Assistant Accountant is to support APAC Finance and Accounting.
Reports To: Head of Finance & Operations
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting
- Handle daily accounting operations and basic account reconciliation
- Assist in financial reporting and reconciliation processes
- Keep records and reports organized, and provide them as needed for information requests and audits.
- Document standard operating process as well as recommend procedure changes as necessary
- Assist in month end closing
- Assist in statutory audit
- Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- SAP experience is preferable
- Good written and verbal English
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily responsibilities
- Good problem solving skills
- Awareness of confidentiality at all times
Education
- Higher Diploma in Business or Accounting required
