Assistant Accountant

The role of the Assistant Accountant is to support APAC Finance and Accounting.

Reports To: Head of Finance & Operations

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting

  • Handle daily accounting operations and basic account reconciliation
  • Assist in financial reporting and reconciliation processes
  • Keep records and reports organized, and provide them as needed for information requests and audits.
  • Document standard operating process as well as recommend procedure changes as necessary
  • Assist in month end closing
  • Assist in statutory audit
  • Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • SAP experience is preferable
  • Good written and verbal English
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily responsibilities
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Awareness of confidentiality at all times

Education

  • Higher Diploma in Business or Accounting required
