Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design Development:

Trend Research:

Research and analyse market trends and commercial needs.
Research on material and trims and added value elements to up-level the products
Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques through ongoing research.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Internally collaborate with the Custom Product Manager, fellow team designers and internal Sourcing teams to understand style and collection requirements (e.g., production drawings, line sheets, tech packs, mood boards, marketing material if needed) and translate these into manufacturable designs.
Externally meet with clients to discuss design executions, feasibility and preferences.
Actively track and follow up on samples and new design projects from ideation through pre-production
Perform and support other ad-hoc projects as assigned by supervisors.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited institution in Digital Fashion or Fashion Design.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in apparel design is highly preferred.
Knowledge of raw material sourcing, styling, print design, and graphic development in 2D.
Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English to facilitate smooth communication with local teams and partners overseas.
Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with 3D virtual apparel. AI design Tools would beneficial but not required and basic MS Office.
