ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
The role of the Assistant Accountant is to support APAC Finance and Accounting.
Reports To: Assistant Accounting Manager
Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting operations and basic account reconciliation
- Assist in financial reporting, budgeting and reconciliation processes
- Maintain required records, reports and file in a logical organized manner, provide as needed to regards to information needs and audits
- Document standard operating process as well as recommend procedure changes as necessary
- Assist in month end closing
- Assist in statutory audit and tax-filing
- Assist in office administration, when required
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviours
- 2+ years of experiences in Finance support
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- SAP experiences is preferable.
- Good written and verbal English.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily responsibilities.
- Ability to find solutions to various administrative problems
- Awareness of confidentiality at all times.
Education
- Higher Diploma or above in Accounting required
