New Era, American headwear brand leading fashion and lifestyle since 1920, responds to April 22 Earth Day with the launch of REPREVE® & MESH and CORDURA RECYCLED headwear and apparel collections for adults. Created with the great outdoors in mind, a total of 10 headwear are introduced in the two collections, blending American street fashion elements with atheleisure style to create the perfect gear for outdoor enthusiasts. Offering more than good looks and performance, the two collections are also made from recycled materials, raising awareness for environmental protection while completing your looks.

Earth Day is an international campaign for environmental protection that falls on April 22nd every year. The earliest Earth Day took place across American campuses in 1970s, and began to take off from America and spread to the rest of the world in 1990s, eventually becoming an internationally recognized day that calls for environmental conservation. People of different nationalities seize the chance on this day to promote green ideas and put them into practice. This year. New Era continues to answer to the call, releasing the new REPREVE® & MESH and CORDURA RECYCLED collections, responding to the great cause with fashion.

REPREVE® & MESH Collection offers two silhouettes, 9FORTY UNST and EXPLORER, the former in black and white options, and the latter in navy blue and stone grey.  The four subtle colors are all great additions to elevate your outdoor look. The collection is made with eco material REPREVE®, the world’s leading eco fiber textile made from recycled bottles and waste.  Through making headwear with eco fiber, New Era advocates for environmental protection with action, to raise public awareness on environmental issues. As for the design, the caps are embroidered with New Era’s spear logo on the front, a full showcase of playful American street style. By adopting a mesh design, all four caps offer higher breathability and performance that is much needed for in outdoor activities.  

On top of that, New Era presents an additional CORDURA RECYCLED collection this month, including four silhouettes, 9FORTY UNST, 9FORTY A-FRAME, EXLORER and BUCKET 01, all made exclusively with the special recycled CORDURA® material. Not only answering to the call for sustainability, but also to provide higher performance headwear options for outdoor enthusiasts. CORDURA® is a highly breathable and durable material, tough enough to resist tears and abrasion. Apart from the simple black monochrome style, lighter color combinations are also available, including a blend that puts together trending earthy tones of olive, light brown and black, ready to top-off your unique Yama-style outfit!
